Bullet Bob gets his due. Finally.
Yesterday Bob Hayes was finally inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The only man to win Olympic gold and a Superbowl ring. Hayes changed the game and still holds some Cowboy franchise records. I now have one less thing to rant about.
My favorite film clip of Hayes was defensive. The opposition picked off a passs in the flat and everone is chasing this d-back who is clearly going all the way, when suddenly Bullet Bob is in the picture and close about 20 yards in about 20 yards and tackles the guy. I have never seen anything close to it. They ran that clip over and over for the next few days. It was unreal how fast he was.
so does this mean that you don't think off-field misdeeds should be considered by the voters? What about Pete Rose, a great player but a miserable degenerate gambler?
