COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The No. 2 Texas Volleyball team downed No. 25 Texas A&M, 3-0, Wednesday night in front of a record crowd of 3,856 at Reed Arena. The 25-18, 25-14, 25-20 victory improved the Longhorns to 17-0 on the year and 12-0 in Big 12 play, while the Aggies dropped to 13-6 overall and 6-5 in league action.
• Texas' win over Texas A&M was its 11th straight win over the Aggies and improved its all-time record against A&M to 65-22. • The Longhorns have now won 26 straight regular-season matches tying for the longest streak in program history • Texas' 17-0 start to the 2009 season marks the second-best season-opening streak in school history.
The agggies have played more games- they must be tired. More importantly I nominate SBaskind as new chief editor for the new york times (all the news that is fit ti slant)
Oxey....yes.....it's like the guy at work that insists he has season tix to the Huskers Women's Volleyball team because he likes the sports. Sure buddy, and I like Playboy for the articles. Wait, is there still an actual Playboy magazine?
My bad, apparently UT is ranked No. 2:
