If Bama keeps thumping Notre Dame this way, the irony is that you have to conclude that the best team in the country right now is Texas A&M. A&M kept getting better through the season behind its freshman QB and ended the season beating Bama at Bama and then absolutely destroyed Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl. I went to UT so by definition I can't be an A&M fan, but I have to admit that A&M has the best claim to being the best team in the country.

I think Georgia, Oregon and A&M are better than ND.
